HSE Health and Wellbeing training for teachers is now open for booking using the links below. This training has been developed to support teachers to take evidence-based approaches to promoting wellbeing in their school community.
The training programme enables teachers to develop their skills and confidence for facilitating learning related to SPHE, so that they can support children and young people to develop the knowledge, understanding, skills, values and dispositions needed to support their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, now and in their future lives.
The significant role that school culture and environment has on children’s wellbeing is reflected in this training programme, which provides training on whole school approaches to physical activity and food policy for primary teachers. All trainings take a practical and positive approach to promoting children and young people’s health and wellbeing.
