Congratulations to our Tobacco Free Ireland Programme and our CHO Health and Wellbeing colleagues and to the Sexual Health & Crisis Pregnancy Programme, who won awards at the recent Irish Healthcare Awards 2023. The awards took place on Tuesday 5th December at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre. It was an evening in celebration of the achievements, innovation and dedication of the Irish healthcare sector, with 19 award categories in total.
The Tobacco Free Ireland Programme won the ‘Public Health Initiative of the Year’ award for their work on the Sláintecare Healthy Community Stop Smoking Initiative including the offer of free Nicotine Replacement Therapy, whilst the Sexual Health & Crisis Pregnancy Programme won the ‘Innovation in Healthcare and Medicine’ award for their work on the Free Home STI Testing Service.
These awards are a great recognition of the work carried out by our dedicated staff and partners. Thank you for everything that you are doing for Irish healthcare.
